How to use them

Three habits that make the tools work.

Use a live opportunity

A tool filled in for a hypothetical idea teaches you nothing. Pick something real, with real money or time at stake.

Write in pencil

The numbers will change. Treat every figure as an assumption to test, and record the evidence beside it.

Set thresholds first

Decide what would make you stop before you see the result, then keep the thresholds fixed.

Please note. These tools accompany the book The Blank Sheet Operator: Structuring, Pricing, and Delivering High-Value Ventures in Volatile Markets. All example figures are illustrative. Thresholds and bands are operator heuristics, not laws. The tools are for educational purposes and are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice.
